Our venue location is near the Shirlington shopping area; the closest highway is probably I-395, off the Shirlington exits.

The closest airport to us, with Blue and Yellow Metro line connections.
Out west of us, in Fairfax County. There are no Metro line connections, but there are several shuttle services Metro bus lines that serve the airport.
This tends to be the least expensive, but also the farthest away alternative.
The closest Metro rail stations to us are Ballston (Orange and Silver lines), Pentagon City (Blue and Yellow lines), and the Pentagon (Blue and Yellow).
The closest bus line to the wedding site is the 22A (here’s the schedule), which connects to the Ballston Metro Station. There is also a bus transfer point in Shirlington, which is a 15-20 minute walk away, with bus connections to the Pentagon Metro station.
Most rental car companies have locations at the area airports (see above), although less expensive rates may be available at locations farther away (i.e. in Arlington or Alexandria).
There are taxi stands at most Metro stations, and you can also call to order a taxi to come pick you up (note: the Pentagon Metro station’s taxi stand isn’t very convenient, so we recommend getting a taxi from the Pentagon City Metro station instead). There are several taxi companies in Arlington and the larger DC Metro area (we’ve had good results with Red Cab of Arlington and enviroCAB).
